Not receiving payments

So a person just placed an order on my website and paid via paypal. On my website accounts, I have the paypal transaction ID and yet when i log into paypal, the payment is not there.  I try to search by transaction ID and nothing.  Anyone else having this issue?

No one else will have the problem because no one else is managing your website.

You could help by describing your eCommerce web site and shopping cart.

Does your website system give you access to customer orders?  What information do you have about that order.  Does the order entry show paid?

in my shopping cart platform, it has the paypal transaction ID for the completed payment and purchase. Yet my paypal account does not.

Is it typical to just show a transaction ID and no buyer information or payment amount?

What PayPal transaction do you have for the same time?

ive never had any issues before, Im using 3dcart.  the payment and transaction dont show up in paypal at all. but the payments page in my 3dcart has a paypal transaction id.  so something is wrong with paypal .

My guess would be an issue with your 3dcart not passing the information to PayPal.

its not that at all.  I have a confirmed paypal transaction ID to confirm payment was sent from buyer and received.  3dcart stores that information. That way it updates your stock and sends order confirmation to buyer and my self.  It cannot do that without a completed payment.  I have the confirmed paypal transaction ID yet not in my account.
