My employer pays me through paypal and I have never received a fee on the payments before (2+ year). This month though it showed a fee on the payment which was pretty large.
What funding source was used by your employer? If your employer used either the PayPal Account balance or bank account, there's no fees, if it was a credit card, then there are fees.
