I paid an invoice early May for a shipment of items. The invoice was categorized with links to the items to make it clear what went to what. However, the merchant overestimated how much could fit in box and removed items from the already paid invoice. I’ve worked with them before and they’ve always been honest about what was paid; however, this time they sent an invoice and didn’t deduct the already paid for item. I tried to reach out to them and suggest that they made a mistake since I marked down when and how much I paid for that item. However, they state it was never originally charged on that invoice and that this is the first time I’m being charged for it, which is false. Is there any way to see the edit history of an invoice? Especially one that was partially paid? All I see on my end is the final, edited invoice.
