On 5th August ,2020 I requested to receive my PayPal balance of $1,272.83 via check. on 7th August 2020 the transaction was marked as completed yet to date almost 9 months later I have never received the said check. In January 2021 I got an email from PayPal stating that " on Aug 7,2020, you withdrew -$1,272.83 USD from your PayPal account by check. it has come to our attention that you have not yet cashed the check we sent you. According to PayPal policy , we place a stop payment on all outstanding checks 180 days after they were issued. please deposit your PayPal withdrawal check before Feb, 3, 2021. if you have not cashed your check by this time , a stop payment will be placed and the funds will be returned to your PayPal account( minus the 1.50 USD processing fee). " To date I have never received the said check , never cashed it and the funds have never been returned to my PayPal account. efforts to reach PayPal through phone or mail have not borne any fruits either. what to do????
