Same issue. I can go through the confirmation process again and again, but there's no charge on my card and no 4-digit code as stated in the help pages. I just go through the confirmation process, which seems to go fine,, I fill in the CVC code, go through the identity check without any problems, and then I'm sent back to the page where it says that I need to confirm my card. There is no issue with my card, because I've been using it without any problem on other platforms.
