I had the same problem. The company initially offered me a partial refund, (and allowed me to keep the worthless item) which i refused, then i contacted PayPal and escalated the claim. The company then doubled their offer, which i again refused, then PayPal obtained a full refund on my behalf, but i had to pay the return postage, which was excessive. I then called PayPal and discovered that they will refund the shipping amount but you must get a receipt from the PO and also take a photo of the parcel before posting with the address on. You will fi d this information on the Activity Page. You need to click on the transaction and then click on return shipping refund. This is probably too late for you as i just noticed that you posted this in May, but it may help others and might help you another time.
