Refund issues

Hi there, i am having trouble with a refund request. the order was incomplete when I received it, one item broken and one missing. Seemed like a straight forward issue, I contacted the seller... no response. I then messaged the seller through PayPal, they claim their item couldn’t possibly be damaged , they didn’t acknowledge the missing item. I open a case with PayPal. I’m told to return the items to China from Australia at my own cost and lodge the tracking details in the resolution centre which I reluctantly did. Delivery has been attempted once already to the seller but I have had my case closed by PayPal and my refund declined. I was also told I could claim a refund for return shipping but none of the links PayPal sent are showing any of the options to request that.   Please give me an idea of what I can do now?  Ive done everything I was asked but now I’m out of pocket for the original purchase and the return shipping.   ...
