I sold a pair of trainers on depop and I’m now getting accused that there fake. I don’t have a receipt as my partner got them 2 years ago from jd sports so don’t have the receipt anymore. All the buyer keeps saying is there fake, Defo not from jd, I’ve compared them to fake ones there Defo fake... they are 100% genuine or I would have said if they wasn’t in the description. I think his trying to scam me for the £70 back as at first he couldn’t send me £5 postage and wanted me to just send them and he’ll send the money at a later date, then acted like he didn’t receive the trainers and once I supplied him with the tracking number he suddenly found them and now there fake? I’m not sure how to deal with this as I don’t have a receipt but can promise there genuine! Unsure how his going to prove there fake but I don’t want him to win and then get refunded and also keep the trainers as he hasn’t mentioned returning them to me? Any help will be great as I am massively stressing!!
