Hi, so I tried making a payment of £1050, friends and family, on Monday. Paypal wouldn't let me. I got the error message:
We need further information from you before we can send your payment. Provide your information now.
If you continue to encounter problems, please contact Customer Service.
The 'provide your information now' link just takes me to the general help section.
So I asked the virtual chat bot if there's limitations on my account. It said NO.
I emailed customer services and just got an automated reply asking saying I could try changing my funding method. So I did, to my debit card and still no joy.
So I called customer services. The woman told me that I had triggered their security system by attempting the payment too many times. But I only attempted it so many times because the payment wouldnt work in the first place. She said wait 72 hours and the system will refresh.
I waited 72 hours. I still get the same error message. I'm at my wits end.
