Hi my name is stizzi and i am a graphic designer, once in a blue you will see me do web designs as well. So my problem is with a gentlemen who wanted me to do a website for him, a simple front page, in his words "spice it up". I agreed to do something for him for $30 if he likes it enough he said he would send me $50.Most of us know websites go for $200 to over $1000. I made a every impressive layout using javascript and i even bought a mp3 player, one for $5 and noticed it sucked then another for $12. I knew he would like the site, long and behold he loves it, he is hyped, and he sends $30. before that in exchange of information i told him that im hooking up the site and doing for just $30 would be a waste of my time, i even told him ill send the receipts from buying the mp3 players and he repeatedly said he knows and "I got you." So now i have $30 in my account but an agreement was $30 and IF he liked the layout he would send $50. I got a real good impression that he more then liked it so i told him that as a freelancer i can not send the layout with out him paying the rest of the agreement, he obviously like it more then enough to send an extra $20. He disagreed on paying the rest of the $20 and said that he never said he wanted the extra features i installed with the layout, so what i did was make a secondary layout using his css i gave him a background, and instead of boring links i switched them for icons. i nice simple job. From what i was reading, he was really just trying to get that layout for $30. because even after all the back and forth i told him that he can still have the layout for just an extra $20 and that i will not hold that against him, and he replied that he can not trust me and that he was gonna send more then $50 to me but i messed up by sending him a more simple layout. I'm guessing he disputed it wth paypal and they said to go to his bank because he started threatening me about how the bank will handle this. My question is is there a good fight ? even the good guys lose, i just want to know because i still have the money in paypal but my deviantart.com account expires soon and i want to pay it, but i do not want them thinking i took the money out for any other reason.
