Odd situation here - I bought and paid for an item on Ebay. I recieved the item, left feedback all good. I received an email today from Paypal saying that the payment was returned as "<emailadress> did not dign up for a PayPal account or did not complete the registration process". I also received an email apparently from the seller (using a different address altogether) asking if I would be able to send it back. Now it looks completely legitimate from my paypal "dashboard". I see the original transaction scored through as "failed", and the refund into my paypal account in green, the money was there (briefly, as it ended up being used in another transaction), but I obviously don't want to just send this payment separate from any protections offered by Ebay/Paypal and unlinked from the original transaction. However, I cannot see any way, either on Paypal or Ebay to retry the payment. Anyone else has this, or know of a way to resend the payment?
