I bought a pair of Christian Louboutin trainers. As soon as I opened the box I KNEW they were not authentic. Even the smell gave it away. I asked for a return on eBay but the seller wasn’t having any of it. So I opened a PayPal dispute. PayPal gave him 10 days to respond and after his response they sent me an email giving me just 3 days to prove the item wasn’t authentic! I called PayPal and complained and ‘‘tis was changed to 10 days. Had I not done that I would have lost the case and been stuck with a counterfeit item! I paid $70 to an American outfit called authentic first who confirmed that in fact the item was not authentic! Now PayPal want me to return the item at my own expense before I get a refund! So I’m left out of pocket to a tune of £80 because someone decided to sell counterfeit items!?? Why shouldn’t he be responsible for covering this cost!?? I am seriously considering leaving PayPal and eBay!
