Hello. My dispute is about a warranty issue of the seller GearBest. I bought an item on the 10th of October and in the beginning of April, the item did not work anymore. I have opened a RMA with the seller, that analysed the item and told me “After confirming with our related colleague , we were told that your item cannot be repaired. And we are sorry that the device cannot be repaired and the refurbished item is out of stock now.” I am offered a 40% refund, which I reply that is unacceptable and quote them that under EU law, I am entitle to have your goods repaired or replaced for free or, at least, to a price reduction or your money back. I was then offered 60% refund, which is still unacceptable. Seller can’t repair it, can’t replace it, offers same item with reduced price but say they are out of stock, so therefore I want a full refund.
Can Paypal help me with this issue? Or recommend a course of action?
Thank You.
