I ordered a pair of tennis shoes from a seller, and initially, the seller did not send me a tracking number or confirmation. After a week or so, I opened up a dispute with Paypal stating that I had never received my merchandise, nor have I had any communication from the seller. When Paypal contacted the seller, he provided them with a tracking number stating that the tracking number the seller provided was not only valid but it showed that the merchandise had been delivered. I ran the tracking number through UPS to verify it as well and was told that the tracking number was valid, and the merchandise had been delivered, however, it was not delivered to my address! Additionally, the address that it was delivered to was not even the address I have on file with Paypal! I provided this information to Paypal along with proof from not only my RING doorbell but also proof from UPS (as they advised me to do). Yep, I literally had to conduct my own investigation because Paypal refused. Paypal stated their standing policy was to ONLY verify that the package had been delivered and that they didn't care about what address it had been delivered to!!! Needless to say, they denied my claim and sided in favor of the fraudulent seller! Paypal is a multi-billion dollar company in which I am a stockholder. I will now sell my shares and report this case to the media because apparently, this is a common occurrence which Paypal refuses to fix! This will not be the end of this case. At this point, it's not about the money, but the principal!
