Well, that doesn't always work. Tried out the new "Saved cart" feature. Plug in the products and voila. There's the value in the Total with all the taxes added. Save the cart. Open the cart to check out the customer and the sales tax is gone. When I try to add the tax manually as you described the sliider is off. When I add the tax, nothing. Same bare value without tax. I am getting less and less enamored with Zettle. It seems another example of putting the cart before the horse. The tax system is sadly lacking.

So, if you would, please advise how variations would help this issue. We already use the variations and are pretty much maxed out on how many are allowed by your system, so I'm not certain how this would help and am of the opinion that it simply would not. Perhaps, as I stated previously, an option to turn taxes on or off for mobile stores would be beneficial to many, and it shouldn't be too complicated for your programmers to add a few lines of code to your system to help mobile operators out.

This isn’t a tax question as much as a Zettle settings question related to tax collection in different regions, and the ability to turn these settings on or off depending on region specific tax rates.

This question is regarding Zettle tax rates. Our business is mobile, and we pay different tax rates in different communities. Is there a way to turn off taxes that do not apply to a certain location? For example, assume we're in County A making sales. I want to be able to shut down county B taxes thus: County A State Tax - 6% ON - Off County A Hospitality Tax - 2% ON - Off County B State Tax - 7% ON - Off County B Hospitality Tax - 2% ON - Off Changing the 'Default' does nothing in this regard. Currently, we have to go into the settings and change the rates manually. This isn't an issue except when it's tax time it's hard to discern in which county taxes were paid. It would seem to me that a setting like this would be simple to implement with a few if/then statements. If there is a method of doing this I would appreciate hearing how.

We don't print receipts for customers. We'll email one if requested. All the POS solutions require a printer to open the cash drawer. The BluePro 510 Cash Drawer Interface eliminates the need for a printer with a direct iOS device to printer solution. Has anybody tried this?
