There is an option to '"turn off" the PAD option' and keep your bank account on your PayPal.   Yes if you remove either your bank account or the direct debit to same account via your banks website the PAD option will be turned off.    If you have any pending payments you will not be able to remove the bank account (card etc..) until the PAD is paid in full.     ... How to withdraw money if you remove your bank account?    Hope this helps this is what I did.   1: Add a savings account you can withdraw to that. 2: Or open a POKIT account same thing you can withdraw to that card to.   But you cannot add a direct debit to either of these. So the option to PAD will still not be available.  I want to reinstate the PAD option so I will have to re-add my bank account. ... View more
