I am writing this for my friend, because she can't access her paypal account. Here is her message: Here is the issue: I received phishing mail quiet some time ago, and I was told by skype support to change my password. Due to my absence of using the paypal for quiet some time, I forgot my password. As I requested to change my password, was sent an e-mail to verify its me, clicked on it, then it wants more proof. They want to send the text to my phone to enter 6 digit code to verify its me. I have my phone linked to the paypal account, but the code never came. I tried multiple times, and now I just get output "Sorry, we couldn't confirm it's you", without even giving me option anymore to send email verification or phone text, it takes me straight to that output. Below it I have text that is says, "Need any help? We can help" took me to three options. 1. To log in to that profile to contact them via email ( impossible cannot even log into it), 2. ask community, which after searching for long time didnt find issue like mine. 3. Call them. I created new paypal account to email them through there, and asked for support, which after emails and emails they say only way to do it is to call them, even though I said I cannot, due to the me calling from different continent and country, it would cost me too much, and I was unable to do that. Does anyone have same issue, or any idea how to get into my paypal account, because I just want to delete it. Don't want to have that account open up anymore. Any help is appreciated.
