A customer has purchased something on Ebay and paid through Paypal.
On Ebay its coming up that the customer still needs to pay as the original payment didn't make it through and was cancelled.
A second payment has been made through PayPal but does not link to my Ebay account to say that the transaction has been paid for.
The customer has then contacted me to say that their bank, PaypPl and Ebay accounts have been hacked. Their bank account has been cancelled and now wants a refund on this second transaction.
I have tried contacting the buyer on ebay and I havne't got a response. I have until tomorrow to give a response on PayPal and these are the only options I have.
1. I will provide tracking.
2. I have already issued a refund
3. I will provide a refund and close this case.
None of these options fix this issue. I have tried to create a case but it wont let me as its money that I have received.
I'm happy to give a refund but where will the money go? I don't want to be caught up in it all.
I have also tried calling the buyer but the phone number doesn't work.
