New to posting here, Hi all , I used my paypal debit card for a purchase on the 8th of may at a local auto parts store. Today the 10th I returned some of the items I did not need for a refund. The cleark at the auto parts store used my card to make a refund back to my acct. He gave me a refund invoice that was printed by their computor / register. It says refund on it and a credit of the correct amount. My paypal acct is showing it as a charge not a refund. The transaction is allready {completed} on my paypal acct. I called in to paypal and was advised to return to the auto parts store. They did nothing wrong , They did issue the refund and I have a copy of it , but the paypal rep says to return there and deal with them ? So now I have paid twice for the purchase of these returned items and do not really want the auto parts store to swipe my card again... I will have paid 3 times after that . LOL So how do I get paypal to make this a refund and not a charge to my acct. ? I was not for sure how to file a dispute since my dispute is with paypal not the auto parts store as they did their part and issued the refund. Thanks for any advice.
