The United Methodist church that I pastor is setting up a community arts program and will be asking for scholarship donations. I have set up the account and verified the two deposit amounts but have been asked for proof of account and 5-1c3 status. However, I cant figure out where to send these proofs.. Also the UMC has 501c3 status but individual churches do not. The status is held by the conference. So what can I provide other than proof that we are a church? Thanks
