hello
i need adivce, i sold 3 fishing reels to someone from Germany. i posted the reels to him with extra postage protection to cover the cost of the contents, he brought the reels for £225 and paid via goods and services, when the reels arrived to him he said they were broken ( which i knew they was not) he said the reel axles were bent and the ball bearings had come out, funny how the reel axels are inside the reel and they were not bent when i posted them, they all worked perfectly, they were posted in a very strong box and each reel was wrapped in large amounts of bubble wrap. for any damage to happen in a way he said then the package would have neeed to be extreamly flatterned, the then for the axels to be bent the whole reel would need to be destroyed, the buyer then said he wanted £65 part refund, in which i said well for any claim against damage i will need photo evidence so i can make a claim against the delivery company, he said he had no camera so couldnt take any photos i said well i need some photos. i said for him to borrow a camera from a friend to take the photos he then said he wants £45 back i said nothing will be paid back until i make a claim from the delivery company, he said he aint playing games so i said ok well send them back to me and he said no he dont want too send them back he then said for me to pay him £25 but as a payment to family and friends. hell no that aint going to happen he seems really dodgy to me and some sort of con man. he has now opened a case, it seems to me he dont want to send me photos of this apparent damage as he know they aint damaged, what can i do in this instance
thanks
