Surprisingly I contacted Paypal after 180 days and the man was very nice and he left me transfer my funds out to my other Paypal account. It was almost effortless. If this happens and IF your on somewhat personal terms with a person who paid you,Paypal will allow you to refund funds back to customers and at that point they can give you or send you the money another way. You cannot. The explanation given to me by cash app was because Paypal charges fees therefore they won’t deal with them. Cash app is pretty much free for personal use, where as PayPal charges you an arm and a leg to use it. Try g to get my customers to switch to cash app. lol. ... View more

The people who sent you money, if you contact them first and ask if they're willing to send your payment another way and explain what's happened then refund the money back to them and have them resend it elsewhere or a different way. Like via the zelle way through your real bank account. Cause PayPal will allow you to do refunds while your account is locked. But it has to be to the people who've sent you money. Just contact them ahead of time and ask if they're willing to help you out. Start w9th the largest transaction first though. ... View more

It’s now been over 180 days and they still aren’t releasing my money. So now what? I’m seriously considering a class action lawsuit. I had to go ahead and send the vinyl albums that were purchased for free and not even use my payment from the sales for shipping.
