I recently purcased an item off ebay and promptly paid for it. Within minutes of the payment I received an email saying that the account that i purchased from had been compromised and that it was no longer online. The email said to contact paypal to request a refund and though the money has been taken from my account there is no sign of it in my recent transactions. I've also tried to phone paypal on 4/5 occasions to whichh I was put on holf for 10+ minutes. Has anybody here experienced something similar with ebay, and if so how was it resolved? Thanks.
