@smithp38 - great job! I know since I finally got my refund (had to go through pretty much the same thing) I've been spreading the word on FB to anyone I can. I didn't realize though that apparently PP will reimburse for shipping costs (I too shipped back to China via USPS- but the package eventually was returned since no one in China claimed it). There are a couple artists I know who have had their images ripped off by ChicV and their "face" companies. So --- I got a heck of a surprise in the USPS yesterday when I got home. The package of "returned cargo" aka the crappy merchandise that didn't come close to resembling what I had ordered and sent in Nov 2018 back to China per their rules - showed up in my mailbox! Apparently it was refused in China- ie not deliverable. Guess they really don't want their own crap back. 😄   So now I have my refund from PP (after threatening to go the our state consumer protection agency and the media) AND the fraudulent merchandise. I DID get a refund from Paypal after disputing what was finally sent from New Chic (aka CHICV INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED). I took pictures of everything and kept copies. I threatened to go to our state division of consumer protection as well. I did send back the package by USPS and because it was to China- got a custom's document number. But confirmed by USPS there is NO tracking to China. The USPS document number IS official. I finally got refunded the full amount. ... View more

Holy Crap! It's only taken 3 months and tons of emails, messages and chats with Paypal, but I just got a full refund!  I am out the $35 to ship the package back to China, but the full order amount of > $130 has been credited back to my account!   For those in the same situation, I followed PP's directions, then when the case was closed the first time because I finally got a shipment, I contested that and they reopened the case for being "item not as described". I've got pictures of the crappy merchandise and had threatened (promised?) to go public with some consumer protection organizations. I sent it back by USPS - which indicated that tracking is not available to China! But I did get a US Customs form and document number- which is official identification per the USPS. I have no idea if the package actually was received in China, but I'm glad it's done.   Never, ever, EVER ordering from a company like this again! Well, I did end up receiving items from NewChic eventually, but they are not as described (clearly NOT linen fabric) or 2-3 sizes too small and they stink of industrial solvent. They can not be found on NewChic's site but are still shown on another of their sister sites with substantially smaller size charts. I've escalated the dispute with Paypal for ChicV's FRAUD. We'll see what happens- I should absolutely get a refund for the item not shipped (they shipped a duplicate of a different item). Ordered from New Chic on 27Sep18 and have heard nothing from them regarding the order. Just found this thread - ugh. I've emailed to the paypal email they had and have requested cancellation and full refund due to their lack of communication. We'll see what happens.   Shows up as CHICV INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED on the paypal activity and 1994917056 at qq.com as the email.   Really po'd at myself- I should have known better. 😞 ...
