Hi, Just looking for some advice really as I've never bought anything online via a private sale: I've found an item for sale on a specialist audio equipment forum - I'm in the UK; he's in the US. It's $2000/£1300 and we've both agreed on PayPal. I'm just looking for any advice on what measures I can take (as well as wondering what kind of protection there is) with regard to getting scammed. It all seems legit but I can't help feeling a little anxious about parting with such a large some of money over the internet. Thanks in advance.
