Hello all,
For the first time since using a PayPal account, I've experienced an outrageous problem and nobody from customer support has contacted me to explain what it was about, what they will do to prevent further issue and how it occurred. What happened is, somehow, money was transferred from my account to Selly LLC. I don't know what/who they are, never contacted them, never actually bought anything, I only use my account to receive payments. So, twice in two days, a small amount was sent from my account. I got an e-mail which confirmed that it went through successfully - HOW? How can they let this happen, if nobody has access to my e-mail or password, hence they cannot actually log in?? Anyway, PayPal did give me a refund, but I got no explanations, nothing to make me think 'Oh, okay, they'll fix it and it won't happen again' - which is totally unacceptable, unprofessional and irresponsible, since it's obviously a mistake on their side; call it a system breach, safety issues, whatever, I just can't explain why nobody has contacted me for a whole week! I opened three disputes, sent 1 feedback which explained everything and sent 2 new messages in the last two days, but got no answer. Also, they just closed my dispute as if they had actually done their job. So, I realize it's a long post, sorry about that, I just had nowhere else to go to, and I wanted to see if any of you have experienced something similar? Thanks!
