We have been plagued lately with several transactions which have been flagged by the “financial institution” as not authorized.
We were advised by PayPal to contact the customer prior to shipping which we did. When we were requested to provide information after the transactions got flagged as not authorized we provided tracking and signature confirmation as well as a copies of valid photo ID’s.
It was very disappointing to learn that although we have been working by the rules as set by PayPal there was no firm representation of our interest by your organization and were fined with substantial additional fees that were most likely pocketed by PayPal.
We have conducted our own research on this matter and while we concluded that these may well have been fraudulent transactions, we also concluded that the person(s) that committed these frauds were in fact your own customers.

The products that were involved in this fraud were listed on the Canadian eBay site by a user called shipzz00 who claimed to be a reseller of our products.
An existing customer of ours purchased one of the products and paid for it using PayPal with transaction number 74661272RC841774X. They had a vivid email conversation where the eBay merchant stated that he has 3 units available.

As we could not find a place for communicating about this matter we will be doing this here and will try also a few other channels as we are curious to learn how much effort PayPal is doing to serve, represent and protect his merchants from other financial intuitions and online crooks.
