Sandbox purchases not sending confirmation email

I have set a primary email address in my Seller sandbox profile, but when I make a purchase from my buyer sandbox account the seller doesn't send me a confirmation email. Is this normal or have I failed to do something?  ... View more

Help with combo selection please?

I currently have a website set up with paypal buttons. I have 4 types of products I make but I have 200+ variations of each product. The customers goes to the product page (Item A) where there is 1 button connected to my buttons shopping cart and when you  click add to cart it is all fine. I have also a combo drop down box with a list of the 200+ selections. When the user selects one of the items in the combo list it changes the picture. So what I want to do is to be able to pick up the section and send it with the paypal add to cart button and then on to the invoice so that I know what item(s) the user has purchased.. Can someone help me hear please. I assume it has to be passed as an advanced variable. I cannot use the dropdown that paypal offer when configuring as it only allows 10 entries. My only other option would be to create 800+ buttons which would be pretty impracticable.   ... View more

Postage outside the UK problem?

I am in the UK and using ordinary paypal buttons on my website as add to cart buttons then a "View Cart" button which then takes the customer to Paypal checkout. Thats all good. My problem is that if I send to  UK the postage is free. But I have no way of charging the customer if they are outside the UK. It would be a single price for Outside UK. So the only choices I can see is to charge the customer with a separate invoice when I get the order. I don't like this idea as they have paid and would be disgruntled if they are asked to pay another charge. Or I could put a button on the webpage asking them to click once for an international payment. (But they may miss this and it is untidy) Lastly I take a hit for each international sale which is 20% of my profit. (I don't much like that idea) Has anyone any ideas how I could overcome this? ... I have created a website selling products using the standard paypal buttons and and shopping cart button and they are fine.  I want to test the success and cancel pages and make sure the process goes through ok. So I figure I need to do a test site with buttons generated in my sandbox bit when I go to the tools page in my sandbox I have everything as normal except Paypal Buttons.
