A couple of months ago I sold enough on eBay to make close to $300. I THOUGHT my money was going to my bank account that was registered with Paypal but realized my Paypal account was being used to pay for items that I bought on eBay. Since we were going on a vacation I thought I would take the card they were offering since it seemed like I could take it to my ATM and withdraw the money. A couple of days after the card arrived I tried that. It was refused so I thought maybe I had forgotten the pass code. I changed it and made sure I remembered it and tried it again and it was refused. This time Paypal sent me an email saying I had $103 but that I hadn't "backed up" my debit card. I guess I didn't understand that this Paypal card was like a "gift card" with a certain amount on it but since I did have $103 I went to Wal-Mart and purchased about that much, paid for it with the card and was glad I finally got SOMETHING for my money. When I got home I had a receipt from Paypal saying they had withdrawn that amount from my bank account when I used my "debit card". Where is my money that was in my Paypal account?!
