So, I am trying to send money for a car part I need very urgently, from a non-Ebay party. I try 5 times to log in, and each time it tells me I need to enter both the email address and the password. What???? They are both there! Since PayPal has its tentacles in Ebay, I logged into Ebay, and then clicked the PayPal link, and sure enough! I was able to send the funds. In my frustration, I tried to get the phone number to CALL (Imagine that?) PayPal, to ask them WHAT is going on, but they wanted me to login (DUH!) or click "Not a member". I clicked "Not a member 3 times, each time NOT giving me a phone number, but instead putting me on their home page. Um, PayPal, do you think you could JUST GIVE US THE PHONE NUMBER instead of using a pointless bandwidth wasting useless button scheme? When it wasn't accepting my password or email, it also didn't accept my security question answers, either. I don't know what is going on here, but it is so frustrating. Honestly, I only use PayPal, because they hold a strangle-hold monopoly on Ebay, and there is simply no other viable alternative. PayPal even has people on Ebay believing they are not allowed to accept money orders! I wish there was an alternative to PayBay but there isn't!
