I hired someone to help me with things like grading and sending feedback to students. She's like a virtual teacher's assistant. I just payed her for work she has already done as a "friend" instead of as a business. Is this okay? I got in touch with her through a mutual friend and trust her. I have no concern with the safety of paying her as a "friend" but I want to know if it's fine with PayPal for me to pay her this way.
