Doesn't really help,because that item could have been used for a short term purpose,then simply returned,I've found out this a common scam,because of the loop hole in Paypal returns policy.Effectively you can buy an item use it for a long period of time and simply "claim" its not fit for purpose and return it with a full refund. if I find out the returned item has be used to the point of failure,how do then prove this?
