We moved and I am trying to confirm my new (alternate) address. I started the process and finally received my confirmation code in the US mail. The letter said that I would receive a fax cover page to use for faxing in "additional verification documents necessary to confirm this Alternate Address." I followed the instructions in the letter and entered the code on the Paypal site. I was directed to a page that told me to print the fax coversheet (on the page) containing a barcode to fax "with my other documents." Questions: 1) What other documents do I need to fax with this fax coversheet??? I can't see anything that tells me what else to fax to verify my new address. 2) Why is it so hard to change my new address without adding another credit/debit card??? especially since the same card is billed to my new address??? Even the bank doesn't make me go through all of this to change my address. 3) Why isn't there a help topic that describes the ENTIRE process for verifying and/or changing an alternate address? 4) Why doesn't the help topic for changing an address tell you that when you change your address, it isn't verified and that you will need to verify your new address? I'm very disappointed with the difficulty in using Paypal and its help features. Moving/changing addresses is a common happening and shouldn't be so hard to understand.
