I'm beyond angry. First, the fool looking into my refund by Solocito lenses - who took money from me for prescription lenses, didn't send these, then tried to get extra unauthorised money from me vi via email - locked me out of my own account after saying nothing was wrong. Been with paypal for years but whoever made this idiotic decision wants sacking - Solocito had already agreed to refund but now don't feel they have to due to paypal staff's dumb actions. Worse, not only did they force me - the complainant/victim - to change my password, readd all my card details but they are now rudely demanding highly sensitive personal photographic info of me. NO way in Hell I am giving my passport or driving licence card to paypal nor do they have a right to demand it. Thus they've locked me out - without the refund they should be enforcing. They can see goods were paid for but have not followed up the refund (nearly $200)! I'm beyond fuming that this idiocy is happening and expect this is due to one halfwits behaviour at paypal - but seen hundreds of others had this from earlier posts. Anyone else? I believe this is illegal as paypal have not fullfilled their duty to ensure refund (I can prove it wasn't sent and the company agreed to refund in writing via an email).
