I recently made the mistake of purchasing an item from an eBay seller with zero feedback. The item was a baby car seat and matching stroller. I asked a question of the seller prior to bidding, which was never answered. There were many bidders for the item, so I felt ok bidding and eventually won the item. I paid immediately, as I've always done, I have 144 transactions on eBay with 100% positive feedback. This seller never communicated with me telling me when the item shipped or anything. I received a tracking number from eBay. The package never arrived at my door. When I tracked the package, through UPS, the website said the package had been delivered and signed by someone other than myself or anyone else in my household. When I checked further with UPS I was told that the package had been delivered to an address they provided, in my city and state, an address other than mine and had a weight less than one pound! I emailed the seller, again no response. I obviously reported this information to PayPal telling them I never received the package. They were very understanding and compassionate but ultimately found on behalf of the seller! I disputed this claim several times, forwarded the incorrect delivery address information to PayPal, they were understanding but time and again said they were unable to settle in my favor because the seller provided a "valid tracking number". Well, what I learned is, as long as that tracking number shows a delivery to the addressee's city and state only, that's all PayPal needs as proof of delivery! They won't even look at the address it was delivered to! Obviously it's ridiculously simple to run a scam through PayPal! All someone has to do is ship "something" could be as small as an envelope, to your city and state, provide a tracking number and you're **bleep**! Unbelievable after being a PayPal customer since 2006 without one single issue till now that I've been treated so poorly by this company! BEWARE ALL!
