So I sold this bra to someone on eBay and they requested a return because they felt it didn't match the picture/measurements, so automatically I already held a -$35 balance since that was the amount the buyer had paid to me for the item and I had transferred all of the money to the bank as soon as I received payment, leaving my Paypal account empty (They paid on the 26th of Feb. and I moved the money to the bank on the 27th). I received some money from a friend through Paypal so I could pay them back immediately, and as soon as the money came in, it was deducted from my Paypal balance and automatically refunded to the buyer. It only left me with a dollar and some spare change which I later sent to the buyer to make up the full price. Now, on eBay I accidentally clicked on the refund button thinking that it would confirm that I had sent the [first] refund through but it shows in my activity that it subtracted 35 dollars from me (which I don't have since all the money has supposedly gone to the buyer the first time). I have asked the buyer to refund me the second accidental transaction and cancel it but they said they have only received that dollar with spare change that I mentioned earlier. I checked my transaction records and it says that I have indeed refunded the buyer in full (the first time), yet they say that they haven't received the payment? It says I /only/ refunded them on the 7th, but the money was deducted from my account on the 6th and there's activity on my account that on the 5th of this month that says "The funds that were placed on temporary hold have been reversed." Note: the buyer requested a return on the 5th and I accepted it on the 6th. What does this mean? Was the money sent to the buyer or to me? My Paypal balance says it has $0 as of the moment so I'm very confused as to where the first automatic payment actually went if it didn't go to the buyer. I'm really confused right now. I was also wondering if it was possible to cancel the second refund on my end or if I need to call customer service in any case. I will be attaching some pictures of my activity and the such to help.
