Hello, A while ago I posted a question and finally found a solution, but it's too late to post the solution on the thread since it's already been archived, so I'm posting it here in case this ever happens to anyone else. It also comes with a question. Question 1 (the original Q): My Paypal account is not charging shipping on more than 1 item. It still charges shipping for 1 item, but anything more and it doesn't. I am selling a book using a Buy It Now button. The button's shipping preference is set to "Use the settings saved in your Paypal profile" with no weight given (because the profile is based on count, # of items purchased). Under customize checkout page, YES the customer can change order quantities. There are no advanced variables. For domestic shipping methods in the profile settings, I have it set for All States and Territories. Override shipping methods per transaction is ON. Shipping Method is Based On Count. I had to set up shipping based on count because Media Mail is rather random and I can't set it up for "add this much to shipping per additional item." This is what the table looks like (over 4 items I tell them to email me and I'll send a special invoice): Shipping Rates: From 1 to 1 - 3.17 From 2 to 2 - 4.19 From 3 to 3 - 4.70 From 4 to 4 - 5.72 From 5 and up - 0 Any ideas? The only reasons I can think of is that I also am selling a PDF version, and when I set up that Buy It Now button, it was charging for shipping until I turned Override shipping methods per transaction to on (it had been off before). But it did work charging shipping on more than 1 item one time after that. I have no clue what it could be. The Solution! I have both shipping options set up: Domestic and International. International shipping rates looked like this: From 1 to 1 - 22.50 From 2 and up - 0 (Because anything over 1 was so expensive I wanted to send a personal invoice). I finally figured out than when the customer checked out, once their address was entered, the shipping options loaded and they were given both Domestic and International shipping options REGARDLESS OF THEIR LOCATION, listing the cheapest one first. So when they checked out for 1 item, it listed first Domestic at $3.17 and second International at $22.50. However, when they checked out for 2+ items, it listed first International at $0, and second Domestic at $[whatever matched the quantity]. Because when over 2 items were bought the first shipping option that showed up in the drop down was $0 (or because everyone wants the cheaper option) they chose that one (or it automatically chose it). The SOLUTION is that I changed International Shipping Rates to: From 1 to 1 - 22.50 From 2 and up - 50 So now when the drop down shipping options for 2+ items load, the Domestic option comes up first, because the International shipping for 2+ items costs more now. I hope that makes sense. Question 2: My next question is, why is the PayPal checkout even showing an international shipping option for a domestic buyer at all?! I says those are the options the seller has given for that zip code, but I can't figure it out. Thank you, and I hope that helps someone! Cindy
