Good Day Customer Service Man, I guess it is the policy of Paypal to make the services increasingly difficult to use. With less convenience and greater difficulties, it is likely that the paypal services will be continued to used less often by it's members. Since paypal does not charge it's members to use it, the likelihood of paypal earning income from the use itself seems viable, therefore, paypal will likely lose money with the loss of transactions in the future. This policy is quite self destructive for paypal, I look forward to the time that this is realized and such policy is abolished. Thank you for your time. Dear Concerned Customer, Thank you for contacting PayPal Debit Card. My name is Customer Service Man, and I understand you have a question regarding information received today. I hope you are having a great day so far! With the PayPal Debit MasterCard®, it was not built to consistently use the card without a running balance. The card does require a balance to be manually transferred from the bank to PayPal every so often showing that the product is attempting to be used as it was originally intended. I understand this is not how you have used it in the past, but as time progresses our policy becomes stricter. You would need to create transfers throughout the year to show this history. I usually recommend one transfer a month for more than you would spend in any week. Thank you again for your contact. I am glad I was able to help resolve your inquiry. Sincerely, Customer Service Man PayPal Debit Card Team PayPal This card is issued by The Bancorp Bank pursuant to license by MasterCard International Incorporated. The Bancorp Bank; Member FDIC. Sent: Thursday, February 15, 2018 1:48:14 PM (-06:00) Subject: Payment declines I just spoke to your customer service on the phone for this issue and it was the worse customer service experience I have ever had. His name was Jeremy, but he had an out of country accent. He was telling me information I knew to be wrong unless your policy had drastically changed in the last month. I did about $150 in transactions last month with my paypal debit card, I know because I got $1.48 back in 'cashback' incentives, and I have never transferred money from my bank account to my paypal account, ever, I simply pay online or use my card and paypal hits my bank for the funds. But he was telling me that I have to transfer 50 to 100 dollars every week from my bank account to paypal so my paypal card would not decline a purchase that was under 10 bucks... I do not know if your policy has changed this drastically from last month to this month, if it has, it seems like a terrible policy to me and will prevent me from using my paypal card at all. And if this is not the policy, then please make sure that those answering the phones understand what they should be telling customers that have been using paypal service for 13 years now.
