This is the 3rd time asking this and no help. Calling paypal is  a pain in the rear and got me know where. Will my non seller funds be held? I received the 21 day hold email but I have not sold on ebay for over 6 months. I went ahead and closed my seller account. I'm expecting my payrol and it better not be held.If it is held then I will be seeking action.   Today i'm contacting my state AG, the FTC, and anyone that will listen. This policy is unfair and I'm pretty sure it is also illegal. There is no just cause for paypal to hold a person's funds when they do not even sell. ... View more

I received the same email only I do not sell on any auction sites.I did sell a couple times about 6 months ago but not anymore. I'm wondering if holds will only happen to sales or if my payroll will be effected? I currently work for an online company and am paid 2x a week by my employer via paypal. I've never had a problem before. Makes no sense that those payments would be held for 21 days when they are not sales.     ... View more

I received an email stating my future payments would be placed on a 21 day hold. I'm not sure why that is since I do not sell anywhere. I once sold through ebay, but it's been at least 6 months since I sold ebay items. Also I was never a big seller, I just sold a few things off and on.  I do buy from ebay all the time. Currently I'm paid through my online employer, and my payroll is sent through paypal 2x a week. Will these payments be held when there is nothing to ship out? Or can I expect my payment 2x week without any holds? I'm very worried about this as it's the way I'm paid through my job. I cannot wait 21 days for my payroll. How would I pay my bills. ... I received an email today stating all future payments I recieve will be held for up to 21 days. this makes no sense. I have in the past sold on ebay, however, I have not sold on ebay in over 6 months. I use my paypal for business purposes only. All the funds in my account are from clients not associated with auction sales. The money is sent directly from them. It is not a sale in anyway.  By holding my funds you are going to cause me to lose clients. Not only is the stupid but how am I supposed to pay my bills when you hold the money for 21 days. I have bills, gas, business expneses. what in the world am I suppose to do now? There is no reason for this at all. My account has been in good standing since I opened it. Never any problems at all. This is very bad practice on yuor part.   Sincerly, Very angry paypal user ... View more

I shipped an expensive item to someone from ebay. I insured it, and the item was damged during shipping. Buyer wants to send it back and get a full refund. I am ok with refunding her but if I do that I can't file a insurance claim?   She is threatening to open a paypal claim. But the package is insured, and the damage is shipping related.   I have no idea what to do. Any ideas? ... View more

I provided insurance so shouldn't she file a claim as it was damaged during shipment? I packed it really well so I do not beleive it is my fault it was damaged; it is the postal services fault.   plus she took the package home before inspecting it, and opened it at home so how do we prove it was damaged during shipping? ... I shipped a sewing machine to someone and it was damaged during the shipping process. I shipped it signature and insurance. The person is saying the post office told her I shipped it improperly and that the claim will probably be denied.  She sent me photos of the damage, but she did not inspect before signing for the package. So I have no idea if the damage is infact caused from the shipping. The damage is concentrated to only one area. The top frontal portion of the machine. It just seems weird that that is the only place where damage occured.   I would like to make this right. However I did give insurance so isn't she reponsible for it now? If she files a paypal claim will I be forced to refund her?   She wants to ship it back to me instead of filing the claim. ... View more
