Since Chime is powered by bankcorp, Paypal treats it like a pre-paid card. That's the reason you can't add it. It's frustrating because I love everything about Chime, but still need to keep my "other" bank to transfer funds from Paypal. My guess is that they'll need to switch to the same bank Simple uses in order to fix the Paypal issue.
