I started my family's Ebay account 17 years ago. In the last few years my son's Ebay business has grown a lot to where I have been getting 1099K 's for the income. Again this year it will be well over 100k coming in with my SS number since my name is on the account. I really need to create a separate account so my son gets his own 1099K with his name on it. From what I always thought was you can only have one Ebay account per household address and only one paypal account per address. I understand the concept of not wanting to let people have multiple accounts to try to fly under the 20k threshold but separate people should be able to have separate accounts.
