I have multiple problems with paypal that honestly make me want to commit suicide, because these problems have been going on for a very very long time, and they sometimes involve paypal preventing me from buying food or paying rent for absolutely no reason. The first issue: Almost four years ago I legally changed my entire name. I gave PayPal all the legal documents and they changed my name accordingly. However, almost four years later I am STILL receiving correspondence where they address me as the incorrect name. I have called paypal about this SO MANY TIMES over the years, and they always reassure me that it's been fixed. And then a few weeks later, I get another canned message from them about how they're **bleep** me over where they address me as that wrong name. You don't understand my situation so don't respond by telling me I should just be okay with it. There is a REASON why I changed my name. There is a REASON why I should not be addressed by it. There is a reason why it makes me want to die when paypal lies to me about this over and over again. The second issue: random account limitations and other "problems." Even in periods where no money comes in or out of my account, PayPal decides to randomly put limitations and take weeks to resolve them. I filed a dispute over $4 once and they took almost a month to resolve it, and during that time I could not deposit any work checks or buy any food with the money I had. I did not eat anything on new years. I did not eat anything on christmas. Because paypal decided I should not be allowed to. I called so many times begging them to reverse the dispute because I just wanted to EAT SOMETHING and they told me it could not be done. How many times am I supposed to call these morons about this before my name is actually changed? Twenty? Thirty? A hundred? How many years will it take for them to correct this? How many times will they lie to me on the phone and say it's been corrected? How many times will they put limitations on my account even though I haven't done anything? How many days will I have to go without eating because PayPal decides I shouldn't get to access my income that day? How many times is PayPal going to charge me a monthly service fee even though I was not allowed to access my money during that month?
