It appears as though a new name in the Craigslist scam is going around. Fortunately for my daughter, I was involved and have been on the receiving end of a number of similar issues with cashier's checks. In the ad I opted for cash or Paypal and ended up with a seemingly intelligent and articulate buyer that offered to do Paypal and add extra for shipping. However, they would never commit to a pickup time nor respond to specific questions. He says his name is John Allard and the specifics are below. Be careful, people.
