PayPal allowedme to get scammed

Sold a guitar amp for 750 dollars. Sent the item by courier and buyer receives it. Buyer then claims money back from PayPal. PayPal sent me an email saying respond in 10 days. I didn't open the email because utlooked like all those other PayPal dpams with virus. 11th PayPal sent me email demanding 750. I filed a dispute with all supporting documents proving buyer recieved. PayPal said no it's past the 10 day no response. So infact PayPal allows sellers to get scammed and the seller is the 1 who pays them. Their policy is criminal and provoking people to take the law into their own hands. I want to beat the crap out of this scammer and would like to give PayPal a big kick up the **bleep**. PAYPAL SCAM ALERT I recently sold 2 amps on ebay to <removed> from albert park melbourne on gumtree for $750. Did a paypal transaction sent the goods by courier. He received the parcel then reclaimed on paypal. I was sent an email to respond within 10 days, didnt notice it. 11th day i noticed a request from paypal to pay 750. I lodged a complaint with all supporting evidence but they replied since u didnt respond in 10 days case is cloed no refund. Who checks every email? The buyer has multiple scam alerts on gumtree too. This seems totally unfair. So i can buy stuff reclaim money and count on a lot of people wont see the email. How can paypal support this easy loop hole for scammers. ... View more
