Hi, everyone - I'm very new to PayPal, and I'm hoping someone can offer some advice or perhaps peace of mind on something. To start off, I did something pretty foolish and ordered an item (a calendar) from a Web site that did not offer any shipping or handling information whatsoever - even in the "confirmation" e-mail, which didn't even say anything at all. The subject of the e-mail was actually just three numbers. I paid through PayPal with a debit card (that alone, I know, probably makes me vulnerable to some issues); this was my first time using PayPal to buy something. PayPal showed that the payment was completed on January 1st, on a Monday. I never heard anything from the seller until I sent an e-mail on January 4th (Thursday), asking about a tracking number and shipping times. The seller did respond, and he said that calendars don't come with tracking numbers and that my item would be shipped "this week" via USPS. I'm not sure if the seller meant that he would ship it this coming Monday, or what. (For the record this particular calendar isn't one I've been able to find on another site, which is the main reason why I bought it from this site. It seemed legitimate and had a Facebook page as well, so I hadn't been too wary at the time). I might just be paranoid for no reason, but there's no way for me to know if the item was/will be shipped due to no tracking and no shipping or handling information on the Web site. I know I should not have made this purchase just because of that, so all of this is my own fault. Today, I e-mailed the seller again asking for a specific day he's going to ship the calendar, and if it isn't shipped next week some time, I think I would prefer a refund instead. Since today is Sunday, I want to give the seller time to respond or react. Am I being overly paranoid? I never know when a good time to actually be concerned is. I've ordered things from overseas before and some of those items took a month or more to arrive, so I like to think I'm on the patient side. I definitely don't want to seem pushy/impatient or unreasonable. Depending on what the seller says or if he responds, should I wait a bit longer before attempting to take action of any sort? I would still like the calendar, but I don't feel very confident about this so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
