Hi everyone, I’ve never really had to deal with disputes before so I’m hoping that someone can answer a question I have. I recently had to open an unauthorized dispute for an Xbox game. I don’t own an Xbox so of course I didn’t make the charge. I filed the unauthorized dispute less than a few days after the charge because I was having issues with the site not submitting the form. I’ve had to change my password, lock my card, and even remove one of those pre-approved charge things from my account (I did not authorize the pre-approved charge). Fast forward a few days later, PayPal has denied my claim and the only info showing on the claim page is “Transaction not covered”. The thing is, it seems like it’s meant to be. My account was hacked and a transaction was made without my authorization/knowledge. It seems like such a simple thing but PayPal still denied my claim. Am I **bleep** out of this money? I’ve contacted PayPal but I don’t expect to get a reply quickly cause of the holidays. I’d like to dispute the transaction with my bank, but if I do that, will my PayPal go negative?
