Hi, I recently bought a dress on Depop, when it arrived i thought it looked real, but when i had it looked at by a friend then told me it was counterfeit. I raised a claim in Paypal, the buyer then told me to return it, which i did. Now, i didnot realise this at the time, i asked the lady in the post office to sent it tracked, when i got home and put the number into the royal mail track and trace, i realised she had only sent it standard post. Anyway, the seller received the dress back and contacted me on Depop to say so, she also said she refunded me, which she didnt. She never once replied to the paypal case and because i didnot send it tracked, they closed the case in her favour. I contacted the selller again on Depop and she told me she would refund the money manually, which she did, but then the refund got cancelled. So i'm £36 out of pocket. I have all these messages from the seller saying she has received the item back and refunde me, and the proof of postage with her address on. Neither Depop or Paypal are helping me out! I'm at my wits end. I'm so annoyed with the post office, as if they had sent it tracked, it would have avoided all this.
