I've had my PayPal account for about a year now. Today, I sent an invoice to someone, they paid, and it told me I had to accept it. Going through the process of adding my bank, they asked me to verify that this was my account. I had an old phone number on my account (I was using at the time of creation of my account) and deleted it. I tried adding my new phone number (it is through the company I work for) - but it said that it wasn't registered in my name. Is there ways to bypass this? Can I send them copies of bills showing that it, in fact, is my phone number? The invoice was a large amount, but I had no problem sending and receiving invoices in the past.
