Recently I had a couple scam accounts deposit e-checks into my PayPal account for some phones that were purchases from me. Me being the trustworthy person I am, saw the "Pending" payment status for those phones in my balance and thought ok cool, I will get these shipped asap because that's how you get the "Pending" money from PayPal. Nope. Scammer cancelled payments so now I'm out about $170. I think contacting Paypal will have some help or value and atleast they can get me a partial refund or credit due to their own terms. Not only is their Customer Service seemingly only based in India, but it is their policy to pretty much copy and paste generic responses until they completely quit responding to your emails alltogether. Any business, anywhere, strives to help a wrong customer, if a scam or misunderstanding happens they compensate or atleast attempt to help. The only response I received from Paypal the whole time was about their policy is not to ship until payment is received. They seriously do not respond as people but copy and paste robots. My whole thing is - The ONLY reason I shipped my items was because of the PENDING status in my account here. Of course Paypal's response was show proof of an email from us telling you to ship. It's just funny how their policy is sometimes ship the item to get your money quicker but unless you get an email from us saying to ship, you are SOL if it goes bad because we aren't helping. It's bad enough that eBay owns Paypal and they are double dipping to make more money from us, but when you have a problem, as a seller, don't expect any help.
