Just to say that I have this morning been told that I have been refunded £132 (full amount) for tickets purchased on 25th January 2017. That's the good news. But the money is not accessible yet as they refunded it to my old credit card number (yep, got a new card, surely not unusual...) as they say the HAVE to. Even though my new card is now the 'PayPal card'... Also, what a mess - below email message was received this morning but was well disguised in a massive page of gobbldygook symbols and one has to dig quite deeply in the hieroglyphics to get the good news about the refund!! But it said - We previously informed you that we would not be able to honour the following dispute due to it being filed beyond our deadline (PayPal Buyer Protection Disputes must be filed within 180 days from the date of the transaction). However, due to the exceptional circumstances surrounding Monarch , we have made the decision to review your case and as a gesture of goodwill have decided to refund you. Unbelievable? OK it looks as if it will all come good in the end but OMG it SHOULD have been easier than it is. Ken W
